Starting from the first day on the job, Sapp Bros. provides the training and opportunity for each team member to reach their full potential. Training begins with orientation which provides all the information a new team member will need to be successful in their job. It also allows for the new team member to learn and become acquainted with Sapp Bros.
New team members will be shadowed and trained by a manager and will complete a training manual together covering tasks and procedures. Then a work book will be completed to check comprehension of training.
Team members will then be paired up with a fellow team member to give them the hands on training they need to better perform their job.
Safety training is very important to Sapp Bros; we care about the welfare of all our employees. All new team members undergo safety training each month for the first six months and every employee attends a safety meeting each month.
Sapp Bros. believes great training is the foundation for exceptional performance. Your training is specifically designed to give you the skills necessary to be successful at each level. Continuing education is a must in the fast paced travel industry, therefore, many training work shops will be scheduled throughout the year. Training is not something that is one way at Sapp Bros. Everyone is expected to continually improve their own skills and abilities as well as train and support other team members.
